On the most perilous part of his journey, Alfred came face to face with a crew of haunted pirates demanding his crystal-clear rum as price for safe passage — or so the story goes. Enterprising merchant Alfred Lamb aged his fine rum in cellars by the River Thames, producing a distinct, refined, classic rum reflecting the character of its creator.
